There are some things that you just don't do to a girl.
Making fun of her 'roots' showing -thanks btw....
Making fun of her fear of bugs - again, thanks.....
But ABSOLUTELY - just about anything that has to do with a ring size box or rings in general...
There we were. We were sitting in the dining room awaiting our flight. The sky was perfect, it was serene and quiet. We were enjoying messing with the camera and taking silly pictures. He leaned over a few times and gave me some playful kisses on my cheek and forehead. I felt horrible still. I was in and out of the bathroom trying to keep the snot from running down my face too much (because it did quite a few times-GROSS!) Aside from that, I did look forward to this flight for two and our three-course dinner afterward. It was wonderful day, a beautiful venue, a hopeful plan, and a romantic evening....
Anyway, I was playing with one of the rings on his hand. PD only had two- a masonic ring and a CTR ring that I got him as a present. We laughed that neither ring fit any of my fingers. It was then that he leaned forward and reached around behind him. "Why don't you try this one? Lemme get it out of my pocket...."
For about 2 seconds, which seemed like several minutes, my heart must have beat over 150 times, I got a lump in my throat, I panicked at the idea I might cry- which would make breathing impossible and the snot would be everywhere. I also worried that I would make a face, make a scene, say something completely off-topic, inappropriate, or just plain stupid. I thought about bringing up 'his word' that I wouldn't even have to decide to be his girlfriend until June 8- which is fast approaching....
Then he pulled out his keys. On his keys was his class ring. He said that it was smaller than his two rings now. I should try it to see if it fits any of my fingers. It didn't btw.
Nice move.
BUT DON'T DO IT AGAIN!

Sorry....I don't remember "making fun" of your hair or fear of bugs. I thought it was cute. Sorry.
