Day 12 - A day in the life...

Day 12 - Bullet your whole day

It's Friday, so nothing too terribly exciting, especially since I write these ahead of time and nothing too exciting has happened yet this week (it's really Monday- sorry).

  • 6am - get up, that or snooze for a bit until the dogs get sick of the alarm and come jump on you
  • 640 - outside walking the mutts
  • 655 - shovel something into your face, you're starting to run late
  • 700 - accept that you're running late and sit down a second
  • 710-715 - leave for work
  • 755-810 - arrive at work
  • 830 - settle in and create schedule for the day
  • 8-5p (in general) clinic duties which includes paperwork and seeing patients, it also includes emergencies and random meetings that people walk in and simply schedule
  • 1-3 - there's always a meeting in here, also my lunch hour
  • 215- start lunch prep (turn on kettle)
  • 220- set lunch aside to 'cook'
  • 225- head to gym and change
  • 230- 15 minute mid-day workout (gives me enough energy to go the rest of the day)
  • 245 - off machine
  • 255- changed clothes and back to office
  • 300 - eat
  • 320-325 - end of lunch
  • 440 - something ridiculous happens somewhere and I must be there
  • 500 - when I'm supposed to go home
  • 525 - when I actually leave for home
  • 630-700 - when I get home
    • On other nights, namely monday and thursday- I have FHE at 730 and they moved institute to 7- but institute is over here while FHE is in Richardson.  I usually get there some time before 8, but with institute at 7 (the one Tuesday in Richardson I'm supposed to go to)- there's a reason I can't be there.
  • 715 - out the door with the dogs (for Monday or Thursday push this back 2.5 hours- poor dogs!  That's why I have Sara walk them some days)
  • 730 - feeding dogs and planning dinner
  • 830 - dinner or getting dressed to do something else (like go out to dinner?)
  • 900 - chores, shopping, or hanging out with friends
  • 1200a - well, it's the start of a new day, right?  I'm not always home by now, though I try to be-ish.
