Day 11 - she listens to what?

Day 11 - put your (not)-ipod on shuffle and write 10 songs that pop up

I'm a little worried about this.  I don't have my MP3 player (cuz IPods R stoopid) and I haven't updated that music on my phone in ages, so it will be a bit dated.

1.  Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody  - darn, after I just bashed them to someone (Nickleback?  Nah man, they SUCK!)

..... and that was number 1 to pop up on my list....

2.  Savage Garden - Santa Monica

3.  "Sierra's Song" - When I saved this I didn't know what it was called.  It's "Let It Rock" or whatever it's really called.  I called it Sierra's song from my roommate at Purdue.  We rocked out to this song in her green Grand Prix when we cruised around.

4.  Jim Brickman - Secret Love - I really wanted to learn how to play this song for Chris.  We kept our 'love' a secret since I was still friends with his ex (hey, she was already engaged to another, but it's still weird and I wasn't divorced yet.)  Chris used to be a concert pianist and I wanted to surprise him with this song, but we broke up before I could memorize it.

5.  NSYNC - It's Tearing Up My Heart - usually because when I was listening to this song- something was (that or I was working out)

6.  U2 - With or Without You

7.  Lonestar - What About Now - awesome driving song!

8.  Michael Buble - Home

9.  Disney- True to Your Heart sung by 98 degrees

10.  The Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane

Fez..... sooooo my thing wasn't actually on shuffle- so we'll try this again.  All the above songs were listed in the "unknown album"  Oops?

1.  Riders in the Sky - Streets of Laredo - I found it odd that none of the cowboy music popped up.  I downloaded them to make a CD for my father for a present.  Sadly, they are now like every other song when I play music.

2.  Gotye - Somebody that I Used to Know - I oddly hate this song, but when it first came out- I identified with it as much as I hated it

3.  Harry Belafonte- John Henry - again, for my dad.  I grew up listening to a lot of this kind of music.

4.  Chris Wallace - Remember When - I heard a snippet of this song during a radio commercial and searched the world high and low for it until I found it.  Now, I've probably listened to it a few thousand times.

5.  Evan and Jaron - Crazy for this Girl

6.  Click Five - Pop Princess - love me a good boy band!  I especially loved their video for "Catch Your Wave"

7.  Gretchen Wilson - All Jacked Up - I've proven that you don't have to be drunk or high to be all jacked up!

8.  Train - Drive By

9.  LFO - Girl on TV - this was the other 'Jon's' favorite group.  It was mine first, but I still sometimes associate their music with him, especially this song.  When we went to see 'Wicked' together in Chicago- I was the girl in the green dress.  I bought a dark green, gorgeous formal gown to wear to Chicago Broadway.

10.  Unknown- There is a God- came from a Christian Mix CD.  I also have a CD and some mixes from Casting Crowns.

There, I guess that's a better mix of what I actually listen to.
