Oh crap.... I'm never very good at these...
1. I've owned/babysat an interesting array of animals over the years including sugar gliders, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, potbelly pigs, snakes, lizards, mice, rats, bugs, frogs, turtles, and Madagascar cockroaches (like seriously)
2. I used to play a variety of instruments- violin, piano, guitar, viola, cello, marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel (because it's fun to say), vibraphone- and just about every percussion instrument with some amount of proficiency in HS. (By the end of HS, I had also belonged and performed with every music group offered- singing, bands, orchestras)
3. I won a beauty pageant and attended the state pageant as a contestant (that may not be interesting- I've mentioned it before)
4. At 12, my doctor (somewhat jokingly) told me if I kept having health problems- I wouldn't live to see 25. He died of cancer when I was 24.
5. At 18, I was told again that I had 2 weeks to live- I barely scraped out of that one. I missed the majority of my high school senior events and 3 months out of school for it.
6. I have a natural curiosity of just about anything.
7. That said, I would like to try everything at least once, to fully determine if it's something I like or not
8. I've gone skydiving and bungee jumping 10 times now.
9. I used to be certified in mountain climbing and zip lining.
10. I've studied abroad in Eleuthera, Bahamas- and I would DEFINITELY do it again!
11. I was mugged in Spain when (I was 18) the 15 year old boy I was walking around with pointed at me and ran.
12. I've almost drowned saving someone else who was drowning.
13. I love arcades- especially skee-ball! I will do whatever necessary to win the 5 cent piece of crap with 20,000 tickets that cost me over $100!! I also like the coin machines that push the coins over the edge. I could do those for hours.
14. I failed out of nursing school with a 3.75 gpa before petitioning to get back in and complete.
15. I trust and love entirely too easily. I've also been told that in regards to forgiving.
16. I've been arrested.
17. I've been rear-ended by a Sheriff when he wasn't paying attention.
18. I've held someone when they uttered their last words.
19. One day, I hope to jump off a cliff in a glider suit.
20. I've been homeless and lived in my car and a tent (4 months) before.
21. I've also had an escort, private driver, and worn a $500 gown before.
22. I love various gemstones and am a self-proclaimed gemologist by hobby. I especially love high mohr's diamond simulants in gold settings.
23. I have a thing about common misspellings and uses of common words such as then/than, your/you're, and there/their/they're even though I still can't use who/whom correctly.
24. I have a affinity to natural water sources (and especially love to play in it) but I also have stress-induced asthma when I'm in water that is chest-deep.
25. While at one point, I could leg press nearly 800 lbs, but I can't swing on a rope, do a hang, or even a single pull-up.
26. I switch between being incredibly type A to completely type B depending on what's involved in seconds.
27. I taught physics in a public setting to real people with my father and physics was the only class I ever failed in high school.
28. I think cold milk and cold water taste the same
29. I've run head-first in a brick wall and one month later walked into a barbell
30. I add sounds effects randomly to things I do throughout the day without thinking about it
Oi! That was hard! Glad to be done with that!
