Am I really going boy-crazy again??

So life has kept me on my toes as usual.

Jon and I started talking more- which was wonderful!  Somewhere in the middle, we started to have what I thought was a fight about children.  When I told him my chances were low for conceiving he acted offended. In his Blessing, he was told he would be a father- so he expressed that he was no longer interested in pursuing a romantic relationship.  I was kinda crushed.  It was SADNESS!!!

Anyway, so it doesn't really take long to get over someone who you never met and never really talked to.  I missed his long e-mails- still kinda do, but currently, I don't have the time to write something long and lengthy back.  Therefore, no guilt!

So Ross sent me a random text.  He told me that FHE (family home evening- since no family, I meet with a bunch of other family-less people and have it that way).  He told me it was at another place and more people were expected to be there for this event.

I actually got there on time!  (alright, someone fainted from that somewhere).  Unfortunately, the building person wasn't so we were locked outside for about 30 minutes.  It was also about 40 degrees since the sun had set.  I had a shawl in my car made from one of my patients.  It was an ugly little thing, but it was WARM!  I shared with another girl (Lindsay) who was wearing nothing more than a short dress and scarf.

Upon entering the building (which was also freezing), there was another man that was cold.  Lindsay had taken off with her friends, so for the opening, I shared my blanket/shawl/poncho villa- thing with this guy.  His name is John (weird, right?)  Anyway, gave him my business card and he gave me his.

The event was speed dating- fun right!  Except due to the time spent outside freezing, we only got about 90 seconds for each date (not each person).  I met a bunch of people, but we weren't given any thing to write until the very end and it was too late after meeting like 40 guys.

Thursday, after not hearing from John, I called him.  We met to see Reunion tower and ended up having drinks and dessert there before dinner at TGIFridays.  It was such a sweet first date.

That Sunday, he kidnapped me at church and dragged me to his congregation (7 hrs of church yay!).  After church, we found out his water heater ruptured and spent a few hours cleaning the water from the carpets.  His father invited me to the family dinner, but being covered in dirty carpet water put an end to that.

We hung out at his house a few times this past week trying to get his DVD player to work with his TV so I don't have to watch any more commentaries (please no.... five is enough!).  Tonight, we're having FHE together and I'm petrified since I think I'm in charge of the stuff...

Also, I mailed Jon's package- temple pic, temple tie tack, and CTR ring as he returns from his grandfather's funeral (Seattle) and prepares to go through the Temple his first time!  I won't have enough time to get down there to go, but wanted to show my support.  So happy for him!

2 Jo(h)ns- yay? Don't confuse them now!  :)
