First Impressions lead to embarrassing stories!

So, in an effort to be more sociable- I joined an on-line dating site.  Yay?  Stacey met her husband through one and I wasn't meeting alot of people in Dallas because of my schedule.

There were alot of creepers and old people.

A couple people asked me for (*insert dirty stuff here*) and I mean this is a CHRISTIAN website, people make me sad.

I did talk to a couple of people, specifically one.  He has a blog, so I won't embarrass the dickens out of him. He lives in Missouri in a teeny, tiny town.

We started texting, IM chatting, and he started sending me lengthy e-mails daily.  I was pretty psyched!  He warned me that he didn't have alot of minutes on his phone (300 per month) so I promised not to call him.

Well....

Hey- I saw that- whatev!

Yeah, I called him.

My phone is being ridiculous!  It won't stay charged, it won't connect most of the time, it constantly restarts after I open applications, it's RIDICULOUS!  I wanted to give him the number to my other phone if he wanted to reach me and I was driving and all....

So I called him.

I have an unlisted, 'unknown' number on my phone so I figured he wouldn't answer.  I had heard his voice on the news about a robbery, so I knew what he sounded like.

It was bad....

My very first words to him were, "oh, crap."

How do you live that down??  And, to top it off- I sent a followup text that said, "I'm never gonna love that down, am I?"  I didn't even catch the mistake.  He was laughing and telling me "or that".  He totally got me.  If anything comes from our budding relationship, it is something I will probably NEVER live down.
