Besides having a horrible night the night before last, I had a decent day yesterday. I truly felt the comfort of the Spirit throughout the day. I was able to visit teach a sister, finish work earlier than expected, celebrated a patient's birthday, and still managed not to go to bed on time! :)
I was shocked and somewhat confused when Ross had texted me at the end of the day. We talked about meeting face to face to discuss some "cultural differences" (yeah.... communication style clashes) but rather than waiting until the weekend, I just called him. He seems apprehensive about starting a relationship, which I honestly don't blame him. Goodness, if he knew my history he'd probably go running for the hills! Anyway, it was nice to finally start to sort things out with him so I don't waste his time and patience and he doesn't lead me on. I like him, let's see where it goes! Life's always an adventure but with my craziness making me... well... crazy- I wonder why I haven't been medicated yet! :)
*Just as a note, I'd like to add that there is nothing more wonderful than hearing the voice of someone you care about right before going to sleep* ~not that I slept all that well anyway! Thank you Keowee and Adn.
Today has the makings to be exhausting- it's Wednesday, my heaviest patient day. I need to stop by the office and I'm running a little behind because my key didn't open the washroom like it was supposed to- oops? But, I did manage to walk the dogs, read, and stop by Kroger for some much needed dog food (poor puppies!). Today is maid day- so I'm excited to return to a clean, fresh room with my poor puppies crying to let them out! Oh, what a day! Have a good one!
