Monday
This past week wasn't too exciting. I had a job interview on Monday. It sounded like such a sure thing- we had even planned for me to come start on the following Monday, then I never heard anything back. I'll call today. Also, since Monday, I had been trying to get a duplex a newbie at church's brother's realtor was renting.... yeah.... still waiting....rest of the time
So the rest of the week wasn't too terribly bad. It went by pretty quietly minus my sister eloping, job thing, housing thing, and still not completing all my paperwork. Oh! And lastly, I was stood up on a date that was a long time coming...Nevertheless
Reflecting on last week, regardless of everything- still can't say it was too bad. I made all my patient visits and had good visits. I was able to hang with Sandra, Bill, and Alice this week which is more than I do most weeks. I attended my first divorce support group session and I believed it helped a TON. It was finally nice to not feel alone and pray with others.Fudge n Bugz
So, a friend talked me into making some fudge possibly to sell online. I had thought about this before as a side business when I was in school so I had the recipes, basket plans, and everything. I just wanted to have a signature piece. Now, it's a journey to find my best work!

| Idea # 1 - strawberry banana fudge |
Ending the excitement to my night around 11pm- I had an unwelcomed visitor. I had just finished the fudge and laid it on the counter to cool when all a sudden a HUGE bug had crawled from behind the fridge. I think I even did a double-take it was that big. I ran away and straight upstairs to my neighbor. She 1- didn't want to see it and 2 - said that she 'doesn't do bugs'. How do you find someone to kill a bug in the middle of the night? I honestly considered grabbing a dude from the parking lot but the bullet hole that remains in my window- made me reconsider. The second time I ran in, I couldn't find the bug. So I ran back upstairs to tell the neighbor. On my third entry (and this is seriously like the span of 5 minutes that felt like 5 hours). The bug had moved from the kitchen counter to my living room floor. Either it flew over the counters in the kitchen and landed on the floor or it fell off the counter and crawled at super speed to where it was in the living room. I stared at it staring at me. I had called my mother back. I think everytime it moved I screamed at the top of my lungs. My mother suggested hitting it with a broom and stomping on it. That required too much for my brain at the time- I would have to get close to something that could possibly fly and eat my face and then stomp it's icky guts into my freshly cleaned carpet.
So when it decided to try and make a getaway. I took a can of raid and between screaming and emptying the can- the bug came to rest.
My neighbor's boyfriend came down to flush it- he said it was an outdoor cockroach that probably followed me in one day.
Regardless, that was one scary bug.
Neighbor later texted they liked the fudge. :)
