Nothing too exciting for the beginning of November. When my car was getting an oil change, I came across a flyer for "Barktoberfest" in Frisco. It was sooooo much fun! There were dogs everywhere, prizes, games, and contests! Dai and Ileya even had their pictures taken.
I went with Brandon and his dog, Max
Sadly, Ileya was in a real costume but Dai and her shirt got the compliments. Yay dollar store? Ileya was dracula with her black cape and red and gold medallion; Dai wore a shirt that said "Black Cat Patrol Service"
When we left, we had treats, food, doo bags (like 4 in a cute carrier), Brandon got a large dog bed, an animal bag, three shirts, 10 toys, frisbees, and their picture. It all went to charity and was relatively cheap. At a 5 dollar spin, you won every time. I got a $10 gift certificate for a cafe and Brandon was $20 in cupcakes- all for a $5 spin! Even the dogs loved meeting other dogs, we played in the field behind off-leash during the competitions since they didn't want to just sit there.
