Something Different

I decided it was time for a change.  I just received a wonderful bonus at work.  Now, what should I do with it??  I guess I have to blame Shawn Spencer and the seemingly timeless hours I spend Saturday nights watching the first 5 seasons of Psych on Ion television.

Shawn: Can I just what I came here to say please? …I have a motorcycle. 
Juliet: Yes you do. 
Shawn: Yes I do and you know what? It is the purest form of freedom that I’ve ever experienced. You zip through traffic, you park anywhere, you never have to take anyone to the airport, you certainly don’t have to help anyone move. Easily the best purchase I’ve ever made in my life and I have never regretted it, not for one second.
Juliet: Great. You love your motorcycle. Is there a point to this?
Shawn: Yeah, there’s a point to this. The point is, since I’ve met you, I… I’ve been thinking about getting a car.

I find it hilarious that her name is even Juliet.

Anyway, I can't blame Shawn entirely... I've wanted a motorcycle for a few years.  It's one of those things that you always think about then this nagging voice comes into your head about bills, healthcare, safety, time and upkeep, storage (since I live in an apartment), etc.

Not this time....

Ok, well I thought about those things and how I could probably better spend the money....

But this time, I thought about the freedom, better gas mileage, and being able to park whereever I want.
