Moving... again!

Two weeks ago Thursday- the housing told us we had to move. It was October 2. October 3rd, the very next day, they told us that they had a vacant unit that would be 'perfect' for us! Come Monday, they showed us the unit and we started moving in that afternoon. Tuesday, we signed over our old apartment and closed the deal. Thursday, we had a job! Steven was talking to our neighbor, Lori. She has 2 small grandchildren that live with her. She recently switched to the night shift and was having a horrible time with the nighttime care of the kids. She said that one of the places she used had them sleeping on the floor! They were constantly being stepped on and such. Since we now have a 2 bedroom apartment and there's only us, we decided to make a cute little room for the girls. We got Steven's old twin bed to put in there. We are getting paid like $200 (from the government- not directly from her) a week for letting the kids sleep over. It's crazy- they arrive at 10P and sleep til 7 A when their grandmom comes to pick them up. It's pretty simple, but those poor kids have been tossed around so much- I hope that Steven and I can at least give them a little stability!

We've been living in our new apartment for a week now! It's decent. It is a 2 story apartment with 2 bedrooms. Unfortunately, there's even less cabinet space in the overall smaller kitchen. Other than that, I love the apartment! It's very roomy and nice. I finished decorating it this past weekend so I'm very happy with it's outcome.
